Im part owner and director of Dos Flamingos. I graduated and worked for AVEDA NY, where I received my certification to be a certified AVEDA master colorist and educator. I have over ten years experience specializing in all hair types and textures. I love all things blonding, hand painted balayages, and creative color placements.
Soy copropietaria y director de Dos Flamingos. Me gradué y trabajé para AVEDA NY, donde recibí mi certificación para ser un maestro colorista y educador certificado de AVEDA. Hola soy Abel,
Born in Aguascalientes but raised in Los Angeles. I have always loved doing hair and with 5 sisters- i had plenty of practice growing up but i went pro in 2013 and have had a fun career so far!
Started in editorial photo shoot work and music videos (worked on a the 1975 music video, worked with Sydney Sweeney, charly chaulklin, and Alexis knapp from pitch perfect).
But the salon work has always been where i wanted to be. I love connecting with my clients and figuring out whether a big hair change is needed or if the client just needs a little self care.
Over the years I’ve worked with so many different lines and have taken many classes from all of them including ; oribe, redken, wella, Schwarzkopf, Kevin Murphy, davines, bumble and bumble, L’Oréal
I’ve been fortunate enough to have been trained by some of the most humble and hardworking hairstylist in Los Angeles and i am happy to have all that knowledge to give clients a great service and experience!

Mi nombre es Abel. Nací en Aguascalientes pero crecí en Los Ángeles. Siempre me ha encantado hacer cabello, y con cinco hermanas tuve muchísima práctica desde chico. Me volví profesional en 2013 y desde entonces he tenido una carrera muy divertida.
Comencé trabajando en producciones editoriales y videos musicales (trabajé en un video musical de The 1975 y con artistas como Sydney Sweeney, Charly Chaulklin y Alexis Knapp de Pitch Perfect).
Pero el trabajo en salón siempre ha sido donde realmente quiero estar. Me encanta conectar con mis clientes y descubrir si necesitan un cambio de look radical o simplemente un momento de autocuidado.
A lo largo de los años he trabajado con muchas líneas diferentes y he tomado numerosos cursos con todas ellas, incluyendo: Oribe, Redken, Wella, Schwarzkopf, Kevin Murphy, Davines, Bumble and Bumble y L’Oréal.
He tenido la fortuna de ser entrenado por algunos de los estilistas más humildes y trabajadores de Los Ángeles, y me da mucha felicidad poder compartir todo ese conocimiento para ofrecer a mis clientes un gran servicio y una excelente experiencia.
